Business Energy Consultant – Business Development and Administrative manager.

West Sussex based, with national travel.

Meercat Associates Limited is an innovative savings and support company that is looking for a key member of staff to help the company grow. We are offering an opportunity for the right individual to learn all areas of the business.

We are looking for an experienced energy consultant who has a solid track record of selling energy management services and developing long terms relationships. Ethical selling is at the key of our business model and we require evidence of this methodology with in previous roles. It is also imperative that the individual has in depth experience of handling the administrative side of the energy process.

Role Description:

  • Working knowledge of energy management services (Capacity Reduction, Invoice validation, Smart Meters etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of energy procurement contracts (Fixed, flexible, Market trigger, multi-purchase etc.)
  • Ability to manage diverse portfolio SME, NHH,HH
  • Ability to offer advice on Climate Change Levy and Carbon Reduction Commitment.
  • Ability to prepare and present energy workshops
  • Experience of compiling saving and efficiency improvement reports
  • Ability to self manage own workload and tasks.
  • Proven track record of consistent monthly sales
  • Ability to create and generate own leads
  • Be part of a wider savings team and have the ability to cross sell services.
  • Continual management of existing relationships
  • Articulate and clear communication
  • Strong grammar and writing ability
  • Extremely good energy market knowledge
  • Experience of submitting contracts to various suppliers
  • Experience and ability to deal with our suppliers portals
  • Knowledge of the different suppliers contract renewal/submission/termination processes
  • Extremely high customer service levels
  • Good I.T knowledge. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Able to prepare monthly feedback reports for management.
